"Palmer excuted a flawless pass into the high speed turn 1. From there Palmer put on an amazing display of consistent, blazing laps. Not only did he break the 5 yr old lap record, he did so for the next 6 out of 10 next laps" .
(Eric Kuhns Natl. 944 Spec Director) 9/12
"Tyler Palmer is an emerging, talented young American race car driver and respected competitor...pursuing his passion with skills beyond his years"! (Eric Kuhns Natl. 944 Spec Director)
SoCal 944 Spec Round 2- Buttonwillow Raceway By Ryan on May 7, 2012 "The race again saw a large number of position changes - all without incident or post-race debate. At the end, Palmer won, Buzzetti was second and Niedernhofer third. The hard charger award was well earned by Tyler Palmer for methodically making his way through the group then driving away and finding other prey". http://socal.drivenasa.com/2012/05/socal-944-spec-round-2--button.html
"He was more than 1.5 seconds per lap quicker than his peers in the treacherous conditions."

(2011 Mid-Ohio National Championship 944 Porsche Spec Race)
2011's outstanding achievement was winning the NASA 944 SpecNational Championship
at the famous Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in September.
Capping off the year, the 17 year old driver won the Southern California
Regional Championship in November at ButtonWillow Raceway Park.
After leaving 7 years of Karting in 2009, Tyler Palmer started his 2010 racing season with the
National Auto Sport Association (NASA) in the 944 Porsche Spec class. He won five out of his first six races
leading up to 2010 NASA’s National Championships in Utah, at Miller Sports Park.
He was off pole in both qualifying races, and off pole for the Championship race.
Tyler tried to make a last lap pass for the win, which didn’t pan out, and
finished second out of a 29 car field,
with Tyler being the youngest driver at age 16.
Tyler’s passion is to become an accomplished professional race car driver.
